The 666 is one of the most productive flutter spoons in the Hinckley line up. It works on every species of trout, in any body of water. Our fiend Greg from Colorado loves this spoon and fishes it in every finish we offer. His tactic is simple, he fishes one rod off a down rigger and the other off a lead core set up at 1.8mph. If he is marking fish and there aren’t any takers, he begins picking up the lead core rod and putting it back in the rod holder. This simple trick produced this beautiful laker and out fishes the downrigger rod regularly.
He’s a long time Hinckley user and believes the key to his success when other fishermen aren’t catching is our flutter spoons. He fishes all our spoons with single hooks and is a catch and release fisherman. We can’t wait to see what he catches in the future.
